How to Change Your Life with Your Thoughts and Beliefs

Beliefs

If your life is not as joyful as you would like it to be, it is because your thoughts and beliefs are not aligned with your desires and passions. They are not in alignment with who you were crated to be.

Did you know that you can deliberately create the reality you want using your thoughts and beliefs?  You can change your life by changing the story you are telling about your life. Change the thoughts you think and it will change your reality. Your beliefs about your reality will change.

Here are 4 tips that can help you do that:

Step 1: Use affirmations correctly

Affirmations don’t really work for people in the ways that have been taught to them, because when you have a belief like: “I’m not good enough” that has been backed up by years of proof, when you say “I’m good enough” it contradicts your own intelligence, it sounds like a lie. It makes you more aware of where you aren’t rather than closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

So we need to back up a little bit and be incremental. We need to place stepping stones on our road to closing the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

Here is an example: If you hold the belief that: “I am not good enough,” just saying “I am good enough” won’t work, but if you start looking for small evidences that you are good enough you can start bridging the gap.

Step 2: Come up with things you actually do believe which are on the way to the belief that “I am good enough.”

Here is an example: Instead of thinking “I’m not good enough,” think: “I am a deep thinker,” or “I am an inspirational speaker,” or “I have valuable things to share with people.” That can be a mental step toward “I am good enough.”

Those are the types of thoughts you want to be using as affirmations.

Practice beliefs (incrementally) that are closer and closer to the vibration of “I am good enough.” Pretty soon that gap will be closed and you will believe it.

Step 3: Try this experiment

Choose something that you have no emotional attachment to and spend 10 minutes a day focusing on it and visualizing it. Don’t choose something you care a lot about because if you are emotionally attached or you are desperate for this thing to manifest you will experience resistance.

For example: you could choose horses or butterflies or whatever, as long as you really aren’t attached to it at all. If for example you choose horses, then set your alarm for 10 minutes and start visualizing riding them, feeding them, stroking their manes etc. Try to visualize in a way that involves your senses (smell it, taste it, feel it). Loose yourself completely in the experience until the timer goes off. Keep this up for at least a week and you will soon find that the thing that you chose to focus on is showing up in your life in amazing ways – on bumper stickers, movies, articles etc. You will be amazed at how this will help you gain the belief that what you focus on becomes a part of your reality. Once you gain a belief in this principle you can begin to use it for other things more relevant to your desires.

Step 4: Look for new evidence of your new belief. The brain is like a scientist and you can send it out on a scavenger hunt for new proof. Once you focus on the proof – more proofs will appear. It will snowball into your experience until you are sitting in an entirely different reality.

I hope you will experiment with these 4 tips and as always I am interested in your insights and experiences.

How to Know What You Really Want!

money no object

Unfortunately, most people base their life decisions on two things: 1. Time and 2. money. The problem with that is that 90% of us end up miserable – dreading what we do for  40 – 50 hours every week. We long to get those hours over with so we can get back to something that feels purposeful. Too many people end up living to help someone else reach their dream instead of following the passion that resonates inside of them. In other words, they resist their Divine Purpose.

I think it is important to ask yourself this question: “If time and money weren’t an issue, what would I do?” If it isn’t what you are doing now it is time to focus on what you were “born to do”. All of us were born with one or two  innate gifts and talents that flow easily and freely from us if we allow them to emerge. On the other hand, most of us will probably be mediocre in almost everything else. That’s why it’s so important to know what you really want.

Here are a few tips that might help you know what you really want:

1. Make a list of what it is you don’t want – sometimes we have to identify what we absolutely don’t want in order to know what it is that makes our heart sing. Often what we want is the just opposite of  what we don’t want.

2. Pay attention to what it is you envy – Pay attention to the people you come in contact with who seem the most happy. What is it they have that makes them that way. That can be a strong indication of what you truly desire.

3. Realize that material things are probably not what you really want. Most likely what you really want are the feelings you believe those material things will bring, like more freedom, more  time, more abundance, less stress, more love etc.

4. Don’t be afraid to admit that happiness is what you really want. I think sometimes we are afraid that if we focus solely on happiness we will miss out on money and the comforts of life. When you make happiness your goal you are not limiting the Universe as to how to bring that to you.

Try this when you’re doing your visualizations:

Instead of visualizing how that big house and tons of money will come to you. Visualize what it would be like for you to be really happy. Put yourself in the vision place of being really, really happy. If you need to remember a time when you were, then do it. Then see how the Universe knocks itself out to deliver those things to you.

As always I welcome your thoughts and comments!

Randy

How to Do What Brings you Joy!

Joy 2

“People suffer when they pursue a life or chase a dream that doesn’t belong to them” – Carolyn May

Life is too short to continue living a joyless life! How do you want to spend your days? A high percentage of people are spending their
days doing things they don’t like doing. They are tip-toeing through life hoping to get safely to death. This is your life! If you are spending your days doing something you don’t like to do – WAKE UP AND LIVE! ACT AS IF IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL!

1. Look deep inside and ask yourself “What brings me joy?” Whatever that is, that is what you are meant to experience. You were created to follow your joy. Make the commitment to discover what brings you joy and do it every day, even if it’s just for a few minutes. The things that bring you joy are given to you to guide you to your Divine Purpose. Begin opening your life to more and more of these things.

2. start looking at how you can take your joy and turn it into a business of your own. When I talk about living your joy, people immediately respond by saying “What if I have to work at a job? I have to pay my bills!” There are no “have to’s.” Everything is a choice. It’s the belief that you don’t have a choice that is the problem.

Without knowing the principle of resonance, you cannot understand the idea of your career becoming your calling, and you
will continue looking outside yourself for a “job.”

3. Fully align with spiritual principles and your career will emerge from a purpose and passion that isn’t separate from who you are, but is rather an extension of who you are.

There is an open window of opportunity right now that we have never seen in history. There is no reason, in the day and age we live in, that people can’t take their passion and with the power of the internet and social media connect with an audience of people that share that passion, and provide them information, services or products that they are really looking for.

There is no reason to stay stuck! Take your passion and open your mind to the information that will allow you to serve your flock of followers and in time you will have a business that you are so passionate about that you can’t wait to get out of bed to get going. When you feel that way, you can’t help but succeed.

How to Live the Life of Your Dreams! Part 2 “Discover Your Purpose”

Purpose why wee are here

Coming to know, without a doubt, that your life has a Purpose, is the most important step that truly successful people take!  Without a purpose to guide your life, your goals and actions can seem empty and meaningless. With a Purpose everything in life either falls into place or falls out of your life.

Jack Canfield said: “I believe each of us is born with a life purpose. Identifying, acknowledging, and honoring this purpose is perhaps the most important action successful people take.”

You have a unique purpose in this world! It breathes life into everything you do! Have you discovered yours yet?

Here are some tips that will help you identify your Purpose:

1. What brings you joy? Your joy will tell you what your Purpose is. The times when you are the most joyful are the times when you are most aligned with your Divine Purpose! Everyone has something that thy love doing so much that they lose track of time when they are engaged in it; something that they don’t ever have to motivate themselves to do.

2. What are your innate gifts and talents? Everyone has something that “flows” easily for them; something they are better at than anyone else.

3. What makes you unique? Everyone has something that makes them different. Too often we are made to feel that being different is a bad thing. What may appear to be your biggest weakness, deficiency or handicap is often a Divine gift that can potentially become your way of touching the lives of many people. Your mess can become your message!

4. What resonates in your soul?  Learn to follow your intuition! Look for and access your inner-voice! Most truly successful people have learned to trust their inner guidance. This sense can be developed through the practice of meditation. Clear away the day-to-day distractions so that you can hear that inner voice leading you to live your Divine Purpose.

5. What is the “why” behind everything you do? Ask yourself: “Am I doing this because it’s aligned with my dreams and passions, or am I living someone else’s dream? I have a good friend who has been working hard to become a dentist and has finally realized that the only reason he is doing it is because someone told him dentists can make a lot of money. He recently realized he has no passion for dentistry and it never has been his dream or purpose.

The most successful people in the world align with their true purpose. They are people who have refused to live someone else’s dream.  Every great accomplishment started with a burning passion. Purpose is the greatest guide God has given us to us find True Success and happiness!

LIVE YOUR PURPOSE!!!

success is a feeling   For many people trying to align with their True Success and Divine Purpose, their biggest stumbling block is meditating consistently.

  1. Don’t look at meditation as a “to do!”  It should be something wonderful that you enjoy and look forward to. It’s not about the technique — the technique is not meditation. Meditation is about “being still” and being “free.”
  2. There is no right or wrong way to meditate. You don’t have to join a monastery or sit in lotus for hours.
  3. You don’t have to meditate for 20-30 minutes at a time.  Many people use the 3×3 method of meditating for 3 minutes – 3 times a day.
  4. Try meditating before you get out of bed. Take a few minutes to connect with your breath. If your mind kicks in, bring your focus back to your breath.  Give thanks for everything in your life before you get out of bed.
  5. As you take your shower, take a few minutes to become conscious of the water against your skin, the sensations and the sounds.

Take opportunities throughout the day to stop and give thanks. Every hour or so, stop for a few minutes to, breathe, re-connect and give thanks. Be consistent!

As you practice, you’ll begin to create new neuropathways that will unlock the flow of power, passion and True Success!

Please share your thoughts or arguments!
